TMC No. 10 - Music Does a Body Good

Thankful for you and a new week

Thankful

Editors Note:

I hope your Thanksgiving Holiday, for my US friends, was great. Now we regroup for a new week ahead and the additional holidays to come.

Last week I wrote about preventing isolation for our loved ones as well as for ourselves as caregivers. It really is an important piece of the puzzle to be able to share our ups and downs with those who understand us.

As The Morning Chill continues to grow each week, I find more and more individuals who care about the topic of elder care, or who are in the middle of it, are willing to share their story with me. I’m thankful you are here with me.

I’m also finding the topic is becoming more mainstream, in that there are more articles and it is a more common topic, versus having it be something that stays hidden, private and burdensome. THIS IS GOOD!

Sharing is part of self-care during this important time. Let’s do this together!

My inbox is always open, simply hit reply and I’ll listen. I love hearing from you!

This Week’s Resources

With all of the influx of Black Friday/Cyber Monday emails this week that I’m sure hit your inbox, like mine, I debated on sending out this edition.

Since I’m committed to you, I thought it better to send something short and sweet rather than no email. For today, I’m sharing music.

I was in the car this morning with my dad and we were listening to some tunes on the raide that he was signing along with while tapping his feet. It got me thinking: A little boogie does a mind and body good.

Here are some great playlists for you and your loved ones from YouTube:

At a minimum, I hope some of these songs get you moving and give you and your loved ones a smile! For me - I love listening to songs my parents and grandparents played back in the day, brings back great memories.

Have a great week!
